A trivial to make, and at the same time extremely impressive, edible decoration for the Christmas table…You can make a Caprese wreath, like the famous salad, in literally 5 – 10 minutes, and it will delight your eyes for a long time at Christmas dinner 🙂
Simply arrange halved and sliced cherry tomatoes as desired, alternating with mozzarella balls and pomegranate seeds. Garnish with basil leaves and drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. That’s the whole philosophy!
For your Christmas wreath you can also use other coloured tomatoes, for example orange or yellow. It all depends only on your invention, and the effect can be different every time…

a few basil leaves
chili – olive oil
salt and freshly ground pepper
Directions
- On a decorative plate, arrange the cherry tomatoes cut in two ways: halves and slices. Place the mozzarella balls and pomegranate seeds between them.
